The NFM board is looking forward to a FANTASTIC 2017 Neskowin Farmers Market Season, so let’s get started!
The Neskowin Farmers Market Board has been busy during the off-season searching for a new market manager, and updating vendor rules and market policies. Currently the board is picking up the pre-season tasks and the 2017 season is on track.
Due to the relatively small size and available vendor booth spaces of our market, the board has adopted some new guidelines concerning vendor definitions. Our hope is that these guidelines will help the market and its vendors by having a full market every week with many returning and new customers. We have defined Full-time, Part-time and Fill-in vendor roles. Please read the attached definitions and guidelines before filling out your application.
In accordance with Oregon State Park rules, all vendors must have their own liability insurance and provide a certificate of insurance with their application.
The vendor application approvals and schedules for the 2017 season will be done just as they were in past years through consensus by the NFM board, with priority given to returning vendors. Once we have commitments from all of our vendors, we will determine how many market weeks we can offer Part-time Vendors and where we will need to schedule Fill-in Vendors. If you know of any vendors you think would be a good fit for our market, please send us their contact information.
The deadline to return the application with your required licenses, insurance documents and the $50 market dues is April 1, 2017 to Neskowin Farmers Market PO Box 896 Neskowin, OR 97149. Your application packet must be complete in order to processed and for you to be included as a vendor at the Neskowin Farmers Market.
